In the '30's, Germans regarded Jews and gypsies as criminals as they had more property than the ethnic Germans. The solution they came up with was extermination. Always have to be carefull when looking for a 'solution' and try to see what the problem is first. It may be that one day you are regarded as a problem and you may not like the solution. I think we all have a criminal element within us, but not many of us get in a situation when we have to use it. In some countries what the Singapore government gets up to would be regarded as immoral and worthy of severe punishment, so it is all in the eyes of the individual.
