Not saying that they need PR on the board, they need PR as I do look online for what AVX does, as I know what they they do. But there really isn't a great deal to find, I use all my normal tricks but never find much.
As for the board if there is a spare seat it needs to be filled, not so much with someone young, but fresher and with a good/solid business back ground, but the very best comes with a price, but a someone that is just a bit shy of the very best talent, is more of the making a name for her/ himself type, could be sorta be if not better than one that is very stuck in his ways, if you know what I mean.
As for it not being important to help these people, no matter the back ground or country, well I have the same view as you.
As for it being on the news, well when it was all fresh in people minds, in your face so to speak, It would make it EZR to get both funding and attention, rather than now when it hardly mentioned, unless one of the Hollywood types get it. As with most things if its not on the radar of the many it makes it harder for the few.
I hope what I am saying sorta makes sense, as its not meant to try and downramp and again I could be wrong and it is IMO
