I just look at shorting as an opportunity to buy undervalued stock, if I believe the shorting has gotten out of hand.
Regarding diabetes, MSB nor any other company would licence out a product before they have added all the value they could to it. For MSB, that will most likely be at the end of the soon to start human diabetes trial. Any discussion of partnerships at this stage is premature. If MSB were to cut a deal with somebody other than Teva on Diabetes, it could also be interpreted that the other mob was willing to pay more than Teva or that MSB felt a different partner may lead to greater financial returns. Collie's stuff is so speculative it is inconsequential. You might as well hypothesize that alien's will invade earth, eat all the stems cell and, consequently, MSB won't be able to produce their products.
