one of the better posts you have made
but, like Candid, you seem to be invoking a God-like Creator, in that the 'self' creates 'shame'
is not shame related to some (neurological) feeling of hurt?
does the (neurological) feeling of hurt create shame? or some the ego create shame?
for example, a new child comes to know only the (neurological) love its mother & never her wrath
then one day the mother gets angry at the child for doing something she believes is wrong
is not the shame related to the feeling of (neurological) love, that is somehow lost & creates hurt, that is, the loss of feelings of (neurological) pleasantness
