    Wherever there is pain, there will be shame. It's impossible for this not to happen. It's part and parcel of "egoing" that psychological pain will be equated with a sense of "What did I do to deserve this?" That's shame right there. Even if the pain is very mild, one will find this same questioning arising. To say nothing of severe pain.

    Anyone who is 'egoing' (99.999999% of the population) will have God or enlightenment as an "outsider", something outside of "me" that I must attain in order to be at peace. But this is bullsh1t. The "work" should reveal that God/enlightenment is not an outsider, but who I actually am. And who I thought I was - "me" - was an illusion. Trick is finding the right work.
