No denying that. Still think it is the best deal that they could've gotten under the circumstances. RC's deal sounded equally as bad, giving the farm away to the Chinese and locking E/s in as well.
In my opinion the last three years has been about mitigating some bad options and deals made by the board and IT before the GFC, it has been a mad scramble to the pumps to keep the company afloat and solvent. They have succeeded in that.They have extracted value out of CRUX. You may not be happy, I know plenty that are. What are your goals?
The measure for them is going forward. They have a completely unencumbered asset in E/S. What will they do with it? They have money and cashflow,they have no onerous time restrictions with either. In my opinion it really is a new start for the company. For me this is a long term investment, and I do trade it along the way. Good Luck to all.
