Not quite.
They sell & buy 1 share at a time continuously throughout the day in order to try to continually control / down-ramp the share's buying price, then when 'naive' genuine sellers come along who are unaware of this continuous 'background' bot activity going on, and take a look at the 'prevailing' market price which 'seems' to be 'somehow' fixed in stone, and decide 'oh-bugger it' and present their sell-order 'at -market' or at a match to the bot's 'control-price' guess what happens...??
Their sell parcel, NO MATTER HOW LARGE, ..or small.. gets IMMEDIATELY wiped / gobbled up in it's complete entirety by the bot-master who then says, yummy yummy, more please at my 'controlled' price.
That's how the BIG players 'accumulate' your GXY shares at a give-away price.
As I've already said earlier, the best revenge on the bots is to just hold your GXY shares in a vice-like grip and wait for the coming company announcements to work their sell-price magic for you.
