If the Chinese are so desperate for iron ore and have a target of 40% Chinese ownership of foreign sourced iron ore producers, the Board should now acquire the appropriate male organs and tell the Chinese that they either JV this project [thus preserving Australian SDL shareholder equity] or, if they want 100% ownership of SDL, in view of the size and value of the resource and the fact that they have stuffed us around for two years, they can have it for no less than the originally agreed price, namely 57 cents.
