i punt in the market because its about the most challenging thing ive tried doing in my life and i have never coward away from adversity. the learning potential is huge, not just about the world but within your self. if you can gain control, confidence, and competence, then who cares about the money as those characteristics, within the realm of humility, are worthwhile pursuing.
i have done quite well over the last year and as a result have acquired an informal "client" that takes in my punts and im happy to say that he as been taken care of financially. so im happy to say my time in this market has helped at least 1 other person.
who ever is good at this game, their end goal should be in the end to just give all the money away to a better cause. there is only so much money one can have to be happy, the rest is just a purposeless endeavour.
