Whereu. In your comment you are insinuation that the JW's are cowards who stood by in WW2. They are actually the opposite. The JW's have a fervent zeal for the teachings of the Bible and strive to follow it. They obey The words of Jesus. Jesus does not call his disciples to arms. If he did you can bet the JW's would be the first to enlist. How much courage do you think it takes to go to a strangers door with a Bible message?

Yes, it does take some courage to go around door-knocking. I have been door knocking to collect money for charities, so have some idea.

There is hardly a huge risk attached to this activity.

The point I was raising is that the right to go door knocking to spread their religion was earned by those who put their lives on the line to ensure our freedom. Jehovah's Witnesses are happy to enjoy this freedom while condemning those who ensured the same freedom.

Don't let this pass you by. Scripture has things to say about people laying their lives down for others.

1 John 3:16-18 New International Version (NIV)
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

    John 15:9-17
12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
