Not really. I conveyed Hitler as a victim of circumstances who went too far, and so, IMO, had to be stopped.

I didn't say that Nazis arose in isolation. I said that the rise of Nazis essentially had the the same cause as WW2.

Can't really disagree with that - perhaps the Nazis got it wrong by trying to do too much too quickly by attacking neighbours in all out war. They also blatantly singled out a minority group for genocide.

For these reasons I think that they had to be stopped.

The British were more subtle in there treatment of others such as dark skinned people, and hence got away with more for longer.

But not for ever. In the end they too were stopped.
