TWE is only a small company and it success or failure with regards to China is inconsequential to the Government (G rather than g sarcastically - LOL)
The G(g)overnment will huff and puff and blow hot air; but what does TWE need to do?
With China becoming an increasingly risky market, TWE like many other Companies that have become too dependent on China for their exports; needs to look at additional opportunities; India has been mentioned (and mocked) as a future (large) market; Long-term, I feel there are great opportunities there
My personal thoughts are that TWE have not promoted the Grange (and other up-market wines) brands that well at all - I think they have got cocky with the China market and now are paying the price
FFS - they should have been selling Grange and their other up-market brands all over the world - yes, they do sell to other countries but have relied too heavily on China
I would be very interested to hear (sensible, non-political comments) with regards to the TWE Board and Management and where they should go from here
