I've never owned TWE but the market may provide an opportunity. I'm surprised at this statement "China was a saviour to the global wine industry not just Australia". That's the dumbest thing I've read on hotcopper today.
Wine is a dud industry to be in. Massively capital intensive but low margin and subject to all the environmental vagiaries of primary production.
If a major market is your "saviour" then you are just delaying your execution date.
China under Xi Jinping is not going to end well. Better that we have our reckoning now than delay itl.
