What a comprehensive renewable stock. It would almost seem custom designed for exposure to the green sector, with the two major alternatives to coal in the one company. This diversity is unique, as either Uranium or Geothermal (or both) will be the ones to partially dislodge coal from it's throne, and URO is the only ASX-listed company focussed on both (though the U will no doubt take a back seat to the geothermal, judging by the new CEO).
Australia's head-in-the-sand attitude towards nuclear power is waning. The price barriers to geothermal power are being addressed, and will soon be demonstrated as surmountable. Renewable energy will be paying big dividends in the coming years, and URO has tenements that are set to deliver.
Cash position is enough to complete a round of indicative, target-depth drilling, with no dilution necessary before a resource is proven, interest skyrockets, and feasibility is demonstrated (by which stage much debt funding may be available).
