Whilst checking "Course of Sales" on Comsec for yesterday I noticed 50% of Trades were under $1000 in value and many just a few hundreds of dollars and some 1 share only trades. I dont get this! Brokerage alone would be more than some of these transactions. Not only is it strange that someone would want to buy say 3 shares they also need someone to sell just 3 shares???
I must be wrong here in my interpretation or reading my site???
I of course expected a conspiracy of some kind but noted despite all the small consecutive transactions they did not seem to alter the price. Can someone enlighten me ???
By the way not just LNC I also ckecked CTP and by my records there was 80% of trades under $1000 and plenty at just 1 share!!
Please dont hesitate to tell me if I am a dunce not reading things properly but it has me mistified!!!
