True, Santos will be fine one way or the other, even if ORG did acquire it wont cause much angst domestically.
Chevron may have been in and out of BPT register over the years I don't know, I would have to pull out the documentation and check. I know it has had and still has a number of farm-in, co-op, off-take or JV's in progress, specially in the Cooper Basin area but I thought Chevron was more focused on harvesting its heavy investment in the Gorgon and Wheatstone projects. Chevron (NYSE: CVX) has soo many tentacles it is hard to keep track unless your in the industry or close to it on a daily / weekly basis.
Don't know anything about Woodside and RDS but I thought Shell ejected most of its Australian portfolio or was that just retail, refining and storage? I do remember the Geelong refinery going for $1.00, I know it was on the back of a larger $3Bn+ deal but for $1.00??? Lets pray LYC doesn't have to sell its Malaysian processing plant for that.
