The election date can be as late as June the 16th but may be called in March.i don't live in Queensland but I do understand labour has little chance so why would Anna call it any sooner as I'm sure she would want to stay around as long as possible.even it was called I'm thinking decision from derm would be made well before caretaker mode but even if not caretaker governments and their departments still run as normal.check the Australian gov website.the only thing that can't happen is major policy decisions and as the process has already been approved I would think derms approval would be a normal action of derm,not a major policy change.
