    Lian, I'm always prepared to take a loss and sell out of dog stocks and let my good stocks run.

    Many investors do the opposite. Sell out of their good stocks far too early while holding on to dog stocks hoping for a recovery so they can sell and break even.

    I got completely out of CTO when it was much, much higher than its current price.
