Hi again Stefan,
Maybe you should look at one of the industrial areas that appear to thrive no matter the business climate. The death and destruction business always does well for someone. However; you will need to keep up with the technology and also be adept at political intrigue.
I dare say Mr Obama is not too pleased about missing out on an order like this but then again they may have lost the edge as their own pilots don’t like flying their current new death machine.
Saudi ordered 72 Eurofighters in 2007 for £4.5bn, but the contract faced obstacles over escalating costs.

Probably the best advice would be to invest in a nice suit and hang about in some of the right places and try and marry into an influential family. Clearly as mentioned in other responses on these threads and element of luck may be needed. However, the linked story lets us know that one does not necessarily need to be the sharpest tool in the shed to pass one’s self off as a salesman!
Whatever you decide I wish you great success and I feel it’s imperative that you select the correct career path particularly as it looks like you will need to enjoy it until you are around seventy five / eighty years old!
Cheers and very best regards: Andy
