I did similar went to sell a stock but pressed the buy button instead and doubled up on it cost me $9k.

DOnt consider myself a trader prefer the term investor as have a long term outlook for my stocks and tend to hold the good ones for years.
have been in mining stocks mainly for around 10 years except the first two years in which I day traded USA utilities.
Had two years where I lost money the rest have been extremely good.
