Given HC is a forum to exchange information, I like to seek clarification, verification and to challenge a particular point of view. Of late, answers to simple questions have been hard to come by.
Also I don't for a minute think the hedge funds (who I hope are working collaboratively with the Chairman) will pay much attention (perhaps a few laughs) to the BS flying around (especially the outrageously repetitive and contradictory ones).
The hedge funds know why HanLong is bidding for Sundance. It's China's play. Bluffing can only go so far.
Having said that, if the hedgies accept the current bid, then that's life. By the least I could do is to cast a NO vote. Nothing-to-lose proposition IMO.
