Only a moron or someone representing the interest of Merill Lynch / Han Long would peddle the relentless nonsense about voting yes in the absence of a FINAL bid declaration.
I don't think the hedge funds are stupid. But these clowns are trying to influence the hedgies on HotCopper.
One minute, Han Long can't get finance, next minute there is admission the HanLong bid is a proxy vehicle for the PRC to muscle in on the West African IO province, one minute the hedge funds, board and holders are overwhelmingly all casting a yes vote, the next minute we are playing CHICKEN flirting with a 20 cents sp.
Pathetic really.
