No I was not enlightened.
I have wondered for some time was has happened to FOY's mining tenements. From memory a few were renewed around 2014 (Amazon Bay included), how long they last or what has happened to them since, I have no idea. Nothing in last couple of Annual reports so would assume they have possibly lapsed.
What I do remember was that whole plastics to fuel thing was sold as helping FOY with cash flow for its mining interests.
An interesting post Buns, although I think most present holders are blissfully unaware of past company incarnations. It was my understanding as well, but all went quiet about the mining side of things long ago. Perhaps I somehow missed that news, but we should have been kept up to date on the mining side of things. The leases have probably all lapsed by now, but it would still be interesting to one day find out exactly what happened. Perhaps someone will even drop the board an email one day to finally close the loop on that dusty old issue. Meanwhile fingers crossed that the Amsterdam fuel producer is up and running sooner rather than later, but either way, we are on a very interesting speculative ride and I'm loving every minute of it. So glad that they changed direction from the old days.
