The society won't challenge people's claims as above. But individuals can if they wish. Can I ask, do you think that Jehovah's Witnesses are really so demonstrably bad? How could that be when Jehovah's people say their lives are much better coming to an understanding the Bible. For example many have given up smoking, drugs, alcohol abuse, gambling, single parents have married when they accept the Bible's council on that arrangement, just to name a few benefits. People's lives dramatically improve after receiving God's help through the scriptures. There are so many benefits. It doesn't make sense to go after a group of people who have such a positive outlook for the future and their present lives.
Can you, for example think of an organization where all the members have given up smoking in order to become a member?
Or can you think of an organization that encourages each member to pay their taxes according to law?
Or how about encouraging members to use alcohol in moderation rather than a yearly drink up (or even other times)?
And what about the positive effects of the marriage arrangement, how that encourages partners to work matters out rather than giving up when there is no formal arrangement. That alone reduces the numbers of single parent families which is a burden on the community and government.
Can't understand why you would want to pick on a people who have so much going for them. You seem to be stuck on the changes of view point as if to say people are not allowed to adjust their thinking. Imagine having the wrong idea about something and sticking to it. Would that bring success? Hardly. If Jehovah's Witnesses need to make changes in their thinking they do so. At least they are making an effort.
And if you believe God will save anyone or everyone that is your opinion and you can keep that. But it should be based upon 'something'.
The simple truth is - (Matthew 7:1-5) 7 “Stop judging that you may not be judged;  for with the judgment you are judging, you will be judged, and with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you. Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye but do not notice the rafter in your own eye?  Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to remove the straw from your eye,’ when look! a rafter is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to remove the straw from your brother’s eye."
I always try to remind myself (admittedly I make mistakes) , when you point your finger at someone else there are always 3 fingers pointing back at yourself.

I posted extracts of Watchtower publications - if you think that is in breech of the Antidiscrimination Act under 'Victimization' then I suggest that you check your position before making your threats. If you can demonstrate to me that this constitutes a breach of the act I will gladly withdraw with an admittal. If I am indeed in breech of this act go to the moderators to shut me up - a breech of the law is against the terms ans conditions. That would be a cheaper and more effective option.

I would check whether those who have suffered as a result of being "disfellowshipped" and separated from families could claim to be victims. I would also check whether threats to stifle freedom of speech is acceptable. Victimization is more complex than you portray and running to the courts may end up as an unwanted can of worms. I believe that I'm voicing an opinion against victimization.

You and others come onto this website preaching your stuff and when problems are pointed out you resort to threats - what outcomes are you expecting from threats.?

Be honest. Do you wish to shut me up through threats because you don't like to be challenged? If you want to be honest show me where the quotes from the website I quoted were wrong. This website has a far wider reach than I could possibly have so why not go after its authors? I have often asked for clarification on points raised by the website and been told in response that I am foolish. I guess I could claim some sort of defamation. You see - threats can work both ways and achieve nothing.

Why do I respond to JW posts. JW preach on this website more than any other sect does. My immediate family has been split for 3 generations when one of them became a JW shortly after a couple had a child. The partner who din't convert was shut out from his son's life for around 18 years.

To me you are beginning to sound a bit lake the police of the South African apartheid era. If you published material that the government didn't like they would pitch up at your doorstep and with "good advice" to shut up.

Here's A deal. You and your mates quit posting your JW material and I'll quit with my rebuttals - fair deal?
