    more than anything i think it was hope - false hope maybe but hope it was. they saw trump as an outsider (which he is) and not part of the same regurgitated single policy parties run out of Washington which are hell bent on destroying countries they dont like. they saw in trump someone whom they could pin their futures on and someone who could help build a future on, considering the manufacturing jobs that had vanished under both parties, both of whom only expressed any interest for them at election time.

    its a hope reflective of a slice of the population who have lost any and all confidence in the system

    once the election is over they promptly go back to their hives and keep building their own wealth at the expense of the people. they become career politicians who never seem to be capable of losing their seat; biden being a perfect example.

    and you've complained about the popular vote so may times before. you ignore that the american system is different and that the electoral college is the ultimate decider as per a constitution that has stood the test of time over a couple or three centuries
