I do wonder what it will take EVT to move towards a MC matching their NTA?
Some reflections looking at EVT in REAL terms for past 10 years!:
Big Property Portfolio:EVT:
The Group’s property portfolio is independently valued at leastevery three years and updated independent valuations were obtained in the prioryear for the majority of the Group’s property portfolio. The overallindependent value of theGroup’s property portfolio is approximately $ 2,292.3million. The Group’s property strategy is to own hotel properties in keycity locations that support the growth of the Group’s hotel brands, to developassets, and divest underperforming and non-core assets to recycle capital intogrowth projects. The normalised EBITDA for the Group’s Property division was $7.1million, up $0.1 million (0.9%) on the prior year.

Property being such a large part of the business - they advise it does get updated values & inflation in the past 10 years has been eroding real values ie. Share Prices - just what might the realisable value of EVT properties make? Largely property has kept up with OR outperformed inflation these past 10 years.
SP appears to been treated harshly from the 2021 peak!?
Inflation over 9 years - reflecting REAL TERM value of EVT eroded:

Perhaps the market just doesn't have a handle on what might be the likely realisable value of EVT? Has the market over-reacted?
