    We haven't so much given anything up - just never got it in the first place

    automatic washing machine - what a waste of time - we much prefer the twin tub, all done and on the line in about a half an hour!

    disposable nappies was the big thing for us - do you have any idea how much land fill they create? but try to find somewhere to buy the towelling ones - was extra work but worth it I reckon.

    never had a dishwasher - again they can be washed and packed away in about 10 mins (and the really greasy things you have to scour by hand anyway)

    cant stand all the packaging that M's, HJ's, Sub's etc make all I see is it blowing all over the place - haven't eaten that stuff in years. Is supposed to be convenient, but at what cost to our health - funny how we are now more informed than ever but we are now becoming fatter by the year.
