What price movement/time span does it take to trigger a request by the ASX to a company asking for any known reason?
In the case of GUD (another stock I follow) the ASX queried their price change, citing
"we have noted a change in the price of the Companies securities from appro. $8.00 in early February to $5.35 at the time of writing today"
That movement equates to a drop of approx. 33%.
In the case of VLL, the price has fallen from $2.60 on 31st Jan, to $1.29 at the mom. - a move of 50%.
If you overlay a graph of each stock the price decline is almost identical.
Wonder if the ASX will issue VLL with a "please explain"? If they do, and VLL re-affirm previous guidance then there is room for a good recovery in the price.
My instinct tells me the selling has been led by an insto cutting their holding, and in turn causing small time punters to panic.
