Triggering stop losses is broker's knowledge as they know where they are set by their clients. Anyone else is only guessing. It would be foolhardy for the average punter to try this with only a few shares in the bag to maintain downward pressure. Its easier to stand in the queue and let the big boys do it for you if you see the pattern. If the price does not drop you have lost nothing. If the price rises, then the trend is your friend. Bottom picking is difficult and stacked with whipsaws because they know where you sit. All my opinion of course. Value in the ground is a longer and more rewarding outcome and a few pips is bugger all at this point in time. If you see value by someone trying to game they system buy their shares and pick their pockets, the reward will come in due course.
