A receiver with no buyers values the five year old trees as logs. A buyer also values ;the years of irrigation,pestici pes,the plantings with host trees ,know how land costs etc . For that five year plantation.
In terms of India we r talking plantations of the world's best oil. Mysore oil. U need 25 years growth.
The farmers chain their trees the plantations have tight security. Expect to c a lot of this come on board by 17 to 20 years.so not comparing apples with apples. It's hard to sell to India because of gvt protection. A FTT would help.
