It would be completely inappropriate for PRR to announce that Cvac is 'dead and buried' and there's no reason for them to do so. You never know when a synergistic partnership might emerge. It might be tomorrow or it might never happen, but until then, there's no reason to bury it. There's 10 years worth of clinical research there, that might have an application to someone, now or in the future.
Incredibly, the worlds most reviled drug Thalidomide, is now being reconsidered for other treatment indications, so anything is possible.
