The current study has shown that treatment with the combined adjuvant of poly(I:C) plus LAG-3-Ig profoundly enhances antitumor responses induced by tumor peptide vaccine and leads to complete regression of pre-established tumor in association with long-term immunological memory. Furthermore, mechanistic analyses revealed the activation of Th1-type responses and prevention of the exhausted phenotype in tumor-specific T cells by this treatment.
