I reckon you are about spot on.

I hold LNC as well.

I would think that the sale has been on hold because of uncertainty in the QLD world of coal which has now been for the most part cleared.

lnc is up today on a bad day and I have been following the trades and feel the market is starting to come around to that way of thinking aswell.

LNC will be cashed up, be somewhat neighbours, although remote and have proven technology.

I can absolutely see them jumping into bed in some way.

but that is pure conjecture and who really knows.

still have not brought any traders but may well soon.
