Frank did tell me a long while ago that he thought the company would be bought out when it got close to becoming an actual miner and said he thought it would be imprudent to try to sell it before then. I don't think he really intended to actually become a miner. It's sad that he got so close to fulfilling his dream of building this up to the point where it would be a mid-sized miner.
Those who decide will be Laurence Freedman, who must also be in a state of severe shock, Frank's family and JP Morgan. I wouldn't be surprised if things moved very quickly indeed now as opportunists will most likely move in.
Ian Burston is there to help protect the family's interests. Elaine is there and I understand it is likely his son Damien may get more involved.
My understanding is his dream was quite close to being realised. It is utterly devastating that he won't be around to see it come to fruition.
