Unfortunately for us in Australia the heshan bag brigade prefer wind and solar....and the govt prefers spending the money on batts.
However, it looks like the Indonesians will come to our rescue...and no mention of a carbon tax....

According to PAX they have four projects planned in Indonesia which will generate 156 megawatts to PAX ....which is US$140M per year plus carbon credits (which they could probably sell to our coal power stations!).
Now.. does anyone have any idea how much these things cost to build? (noting that the technology is already running in Indonesia)
