In our situation, we only need a valuation that is acceptable to the auditor as the only figure for an under or over valued share will do is change the minimum yearly pension withdrawal amount. It doesn't matter whether it is 77c 0r $3.77 as our PGH shares are only a very small % of our total fund and it won't change theses minimum amounts by much, and we always substantially exceed out minimum withdrawals every year.
It may still be nightmare to value after delisting, but disposing prior to delisting will be crystalizing the loss,and there just isn't the daily volumes on the ASX.
