I heard from the guy at computer share that eventually everyone will get a certificate with their holdings on it.
The situation is then with the broker, and according to raper's letter, doesn't look like CMC will allow us to hold onto it. That's why i moved my holding to a different broker.
With smsf, the rules are even tougher, according to leasx, you might have to ask him, Richard or Raper to explain it to you. You can even go on Raper's website and ask him there.
I don't know if there is any broker that allows us to trade in an unlisted environment.
I don't intend to sell as I expected RG's to come give me a cheque with fair value and how he moves those share out from then is his problem.But if i were intend to trade, i will be grabbing a register list from computer share and started emailing or in writing to everyone to do an off market transfer. Simple as that or advertise on hotcopper here too, lol.
