agree. 
financial advice will always tell you not to put all eggs in one basket. spread the load and spread the risk.
I bought into PAA 10 years back and slowly added stock to reach 1m shares. I spread the risk because I didn't tip all my capital cost in one hit, I also bought as SP was dropping when I could afford it. all the while I was still working..... still am.
if it goes to hell it would be sad but I would not go broke. if it goes well I have said in previous posts that my yacht will be named M&M (Manhattan & Melbourne)
won't be a yacht but will be better than a house deposit.
