what of the human shields?

Presumably those human shields left standing are disillusioned and disappointed now that their misguided protection of Saddam's regime has come to an abrupt end.

Their useless contribution did nothing other than to give encouragement and support to the thugs of the Bath Party.

The good news for them however is that there are many other places they can move on to and lend a hand to and support murderous dictators. I'm sure President Mugabe would certainly welcome any support from the likes of them.

For other reasons North Korea would be another good spot to go to help the poor and hungry. Why not Tibet and shield the downtrodden and oppressed. The people of Nepal could also do with a hand to defend themselves from the Marxists. I must be joking.

At the end of the day you can be sure Bob Brown will give cheering support to these people as he did to the Greenpeace fools in Sydney. Similarly expect no mention by him of the gratitude of the majority of Iraqi's for their liberation by the USA and others.
