what options are left besides recession

I wake up this morning listening to the radio hearing the dow dropped the most in history except for87
Democrats for some reason blocked this measure that would have instilled confidence in the market

now that they blocked it we will lose around 100bn from our market.. US will loose trillions

What option is left? re-worked package which will now have to be bigger then originally planned

Let it go and see how the cards crumble.. come back in 30 years when it gets sorted out

or

something else??
