It's not Australian but I just took a position today in Peloton. I see some similarities to BNPL, in that there are many naysayers who don't get the product, or think they will get outcompeted, or say it's a bubble. But I invested because I like the numbers, and these numbers don't lie:
- 128% revenue growth (at least 100% revenue growth in every year since 2014, even before the pandemic)
- 134% growth in subscribers
- 21 workouts per month per member
- Monthly churn 0.76% (Netflix, which is considered best in class, has 2-3%)
- Potential for huge profitability through their platform business
You may not understand the product, but people clearly LOVE this product (just like they love BNPL)
