CHINA has damaged the REE market introducing pricing instability and fluctuations in supply (some politically motivated, others economically motivated).
As new players are introduced into the REE market it is inevitable that there will be a shake-up and some strategic positions taken.
I think LYNAS is in much better shape than MOLYCORP (apart from the SP :) if they can be one of the first to offer a LARGE reliable supply of REE outside of CHINA.
