Understand JS that it is not what u want to hear but suggest you put Ralf to one side for a moment and look at who is running strategy, then look at the challenges from their side of the table and think of the long game. IMO there is room for quiet confidence but that is just IMO. Agree though that any Board that disregards the small punter does so at their own peril.
