I think what we don't get is this weird obsession we have with 'in death' as the only societally valued aspect of any typical persons life experience.

Better to give all all individuals real time basic rights and liberty's that makes them more frightened of loosing their life.......or harming another in the process, sadly each individual sees all other individuals as having the identical in realtime true quality of life experience under society.

Raising peoples perceived quality of life will not be a money spinner, will not put as many people faces on TV as 'authority' and will make people as individuals for the first time in many years accountable for their actions.
