what phone to get?, page-23

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (N7100). This phone is going gangbusters overseas. Beautiful big screen means less panning and squinting when viewing webpages and emails. Some people say it doesn't fit well in your pocket - would only be the case if you wear tight jeans.

To me, it coverges the space nicely between a phone and a tablet.

There is a stylus (if you want to use it) and it will do handwriting to text conversion which isn't too shabby - not great for essay writing, but okay for jotting notes.

I wouldn't go with Kogan (from experience of friends) if there is a warranty claim.

Outright from Dick Smith or some other mob - they all seem to want to match or beat each other.

If you are happy with Optus, the cheapest service I have seen (cheaper than Amaysim) is www.liveconnected.com.au
Deals are amazing and no lock-in contracts - they are however an email/online trouble ticket only support company.
