The board should have a rough idea of costs as they would have known what the drilling costs were per day and overruns . A JV would be across the running costs of these wells. The argument that they don't know final costs can only be justified by this ism unknown because they are negotiating with the rig operator . They would have a very good idea on potential costs . Anybody who believes they actually don't have any numbers are kidding themselves
