You would think that has to seriously undervalues Myer at $2.42.
The two share prices were similar less than 6 months ago
Yes DJs sells premium brands is arguably better run, but if you go to the CBD stores of the two, 70% of the product is the same. They are in the same business,
overall.
Myer has a perception problem without doubt.
But as you say maybe Myer would be in easy 'in' to the Australian market for some other global giant wanting to match H&Ms entry. Easy to change the sign on the front door and put in new stock.
