Just can’t seem to figure out why the market hates this stock so much.
One word: Africa. Higher sovereign risk and lower corporate governance standards. The risk of negative events like Burkina Faso is considerably higher than more advanced economies. Since it increased its investment in Africa I think PRN has become a great trading stock, rather than a long-term hold. .
