we do need some news and a statement about the U plays, if you are saying that it's definitely dead then you know more than the market.
Without broker data it's a guess if you say someone is dumping. Can you rule out that it is someone manipulating the stock to trigger stop losses and panic sell buys? look at the days end of trading today. tiny volumes down low and then bigger volumes at higher prices. looks like a buy to me.
