I've no objection or disagreement with anything else in your post - but I do want to be absolutely clear that you were addressing me. Because I was addressing you.
Although nothing in what you wrote contradicts what I am about to say - there are limits on the fullest ranges of human freedoms, the limits are articulated by thinkers such as John Stuart Mills centuries ago - the rights of one should not, cannot be such as to extinguish the rights of others.
A person wants to watch cartoons or eat cereal in bed at any time of the day - no problemo. A person wants to stop other people from speaking with each other (or from eating cereal in their own bed whilst watching cartoons)- that's a problem.
